Designer Chafa-Govha brings a complete startlingly original talent; her designs are chic, witty, young and whimsical. With her resources, she musically repeats motifs of color, place and patterns in her designs. She also lets her imagination run a riot with her accessories.

Her expression of « self » is clearly reflected in her exciting creations-inspired by dramatic African textures, colors, symbols and patterns.

Born, raised and educated on the continent of Afrika. She studied fashion design and fine art at the Fashion Institute in New York, and at the International Fine Arts Colleges in Miami. Driven by a love for the continent and its people, she travels every year around the continent of Afrika.

« The ancient culture of Africa has affected me profoundly. It has expanded and enriched my life and vision. It is a blessing to be a link between the continent’s ancestral cultures and the Diaspora. I would like to open the eyes and hearts of people fascinated by Afrika, also to motivate those who seek to reconnect with Afrika. I respond to an imperative call from my ancestors to keep our culture alive, a legacy we are expected to protect. »
